It Breaks all the rules!

X is the brand new thrill machine opening up at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, CA this July or August. X will reach speeds of up to 73mph and will feature a towering 88 degree, 200ft. drop! Thats almost vertical! X won't be like standard coasters. Riders will actually spin in the cars 360 degrees while flying through 6 inversions! The inversions include 2 Raven Turns, a sky dive, a twisting front flip, and 2 back flips! Below is a construction log of the awsome new ride starting from June 23rd.

X Dip and First Drop

Here you can see the now completed first drop! It looks awsome! After you level out, riders will fly through a trench as shown in the photo. There's plenty of clearence, but it doesn't look like it.

X's trench

Here is the trench. The workers might actually have to dig it a little deeper. Yikes!

X's first drop!

In this photo you are looking up at the towering first drop. You can (again) see the trench that you dive into.

X's first drop

Here is a side view of the amazing first drop. You can see how close 88 degrees is close to vertical. Why didn't they just go the extra 2 degrees and make the drop 90?

X Station

Here is the inside of the X's station. You can see that pole down below is part of a pole for the line.
