Well ladies and gents this is Coaster Crave's third week for the Spotlight of The Week! This week Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ is in the spotlight with their newest 2001 addition to the park, B&M's third hyper twister coaster, NITRO!
Nitro is planned to be opening at SFGA April 7th for the park's 2001 season. Nitro will feature a 230ft. drop and will feature speeds of up to 80mph! Nitro is planned to be taller and faster than Apollo's Chariot and Raging Bull and will have an L shaped layout as shown in the photo to the right. Nitro will feature the same "sideless" trains as Raging Bull and Apollo's Chariot! I don't know how steep the first drop is, but looking at the photo to the right, it looks steep!
