MEDUSA/ SFMW This coaster is awsome!!!! Its a huge floorless coaster where your feet dangle above the track and it was designed by B&M. Medusa's huge, monstorous layout and yellow and purple supports will definitley want you coming back for more! You start your mystical adventure, by making a "u-turn" type dip before starting up the long lift. At the top, you make a sharp turn to the right before plummeting down Medusa's 150ft. 60 degree angled drop!!!! You barely have time to catch your breath before you shoot up and through the huge 128ft. loop. After this, you fly through the dive loop before you twist on through the camelback rollover. Next, you go through B&M's newest inversion, the Sea Serpent. This inversion is just like a cobra roll, but you get flipped heading towards the same direction you were going before (confusing, i know). After this, you slam into the trim brakes and fly down a small, left hand turned drop before you head on through the first of two corkscrews. Next, you fly through the first helix and then you head on through the second corkscrew before finally flying through the last helix and hitting the brakes. Medusa is now the best coaster I've been on. Its sooo smooth and is a non-stop thrilling ride all the way. Be sure to visit SFMW and ride this beast! KONG This coaster can also be found at Six Flags Marine World and is an Intamin inverted coaster. On Kong, you sit two across and it has a horrible paint job of an orange track and dirt brown supports. Once you hop on Kong, you immediately start up the lift. At the top, you fly down the 115ft. drop before entering the first two inversions. This inversion has two inversions in one and its just like the Sea Serpent on Medusa, but the corkscrews are closer together. After this, you fly up a steep hill before plummeting down another drop before shooting through the immelman. Next, you head on through a helix before you twist through two inline twists in a row!!! This is intense!!! Last, you fly around some dipes before hitting the brakes. Kong is not that good of a coaster becuase its real head banging and is too short. It is my least favorite coaster at Marine World.
